Mountain View Club (MVC) Activities

APRIL 2019 HIGHLIGHTS

UFC 236—UFC Fight Night—Saturday, April 13th, Relativity Bar & Grille—Holloway vs. Poirier. Doors open at 6:00 pm; PPV starts at 8:00 pm. Entry Fee:  Members— FREE; Non-member—$5.00. Buffet Dinner will be available from 6:00 pm-9:30 pm. Members—$8.50; Non-members—$10.00.

Easter BINGO Night—Friday, April 19th—Ballroom. Dinner:  5:30 pm; BINGO:  6:00 pm. Members:  $8.50; Non-members:  $10.50. Additional BINGO cards are $1.00 each. Bring the family for a fun night of Easter BINGO! Get a chance to take selfies with the Easter Bunny and please expect to have a good time! Membership pays! Membership gets a chance to win awesome prizes valued up to $100.00!! This event is open to all DoD ID cardholders.

Easter Brunch—Sunday, April 21st, Ballroom, 10:00 am to 1:30 pm. Come enjoy our delicious brunch at the Mountain View Club with your entire family! Take selfies with the MVC’s very own Easter Bunny! Expect a good time! Members-–Adults (12 & up) – $16.00; Children (5-11 years old) – $8.50; Children (4 & under) – Free. Non-members—Adults (12 & up) – $18.00; Children (5-11 years old) – $9.50; Children (4 & under) – Free. Roger Burns will be providing live music.

Wing Night – Every Wednesday, 4:00 pm-7:00 pm – 60 cent wings.

Taco Night – Every Thursday, 4:00 pm-7:00 pm – $1.00 tacos, chicken or beef.

Friday Unwind – Every Friday, 4:00 pm-8:00 pm, Relativity & Ground Zero for the Nightlife crowd! Starting at 4:00 pm in Ground Zero, join us for delicious food, professional bartenders, & hot dance music. Social hour food is served between 5:00 pm-6:00 pm in Relativity Bar & Grille. Members: FREE appetizers; Non-members: $5.00.

Meals2Go – Every Wednesday — Meal for Two (Half Order) – Club Members$12.00, Non-Members$13.00; Meal for Four (Full Order) – Club Members$18.00, Non-Members: $20.00. ORDERING IS EASY! Call 846-5165 or 846-1746 by noon each Wednesday, give your name, phone number, and what size meal you would like! (Club Members must let us know if you would like your free meal for two when placing order, depending on the first letter of your last name.) Extras will not be available at time of pick up (Wednesday, 3:30 pm-5:30 pm). Pick up is at the Mountain View Club drive-through area.

MAY 2019 HIGHLIGHTS

Battle of the Bands Competition — First Friday – Friday, May 3rd, Mountain View Club. Admission is FREE and is open to all ID card holders. There are prizes for the Top 3 Bands – download registration form at KirlandForceSupport.com or pick one up at MVC. Ground Zero will be closed. There is a buffet dinner – Club Members:  $5.00; Children (Ages 5 – 12):  $2.00; Children (4 and under):  FREE. Non-Members:  $10.00; Children (Ages 5 – 12):  $5.00; Children (4 and under):  FREE.

Kirtland Air Force Base Air & Space Fiesta — Saturday, May 18th – CASH ONLY – Gates open at 9:00 am and gates close at 5:00 pm.

CLUB HOURS: Members Services & Catering — Tue-Fri, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm

  • Relativity Bar & Grille — Sun-Thu, 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm; Fri, 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm; Sat, CLOSED

Other Activity Highlights

Albuquerque Museum, 2000 Mountain Road NW, 505-243-7255 – Free admission days:  Every Sunday of the month is free (9 am-1 pm).  The First Wednesdays are free (9 am-5 pm). The Third Thursdays are free 5 pm-8:30 pm.The Museum is closed Mondays and for the following holidays per year:  January 1st, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving and Christmas. The Museum Hill Cafe is open for lunch 11 am through 3 pm.

Exhibits – Through Spring 2019 – “From Calder to Chicago;” Through Summer 2019 – “Everyday People.”

New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science, 1801 Mountain Road NW, 505-841-2800.

  • The Museum is free to New Mexico residents (with ID) on the first Sunday of every month.
  • New Mexico seniors age 60 and older receive free Museum admission every Wednesday.
